When you want to transform an ordinary street into something memorable, pole banners deliver. Unlike standard vinyl banners that hang on fences or buildings, pole banners are designed to fly high on light poles, utility poles, and street fixtures. They grab attention in motion, reaching both drivers and pedestrians. From welcoming visitors to a shopping district to celebrating school spirit on a college campus, these banners combine durability with a professional look that elevates the environment around them.
Pole banners do more than decorate — they define spaces, celebrate milestones, and share messages in a format that is visible every day, rain or shine. Some of their biggest advantages include:
Cities use them to beautify main streets, schools use them to celebrate their students, and retailers use them to highlight sales or special events. Wherever they go, they add energy and pride to the surroundings.
One of the projects we are most proud of is the Hometown Heroes Veterans Banner Project in Wheelersburg. Beginning Independence Day and continuing until the start of the Christmas season nearly 100 double-sided pole banners line Ohio River Road, Gallia Pike, Center Street, and Porter Township Park. Each one carries the image of a veteran or active-duty service member from the Wheelersburg area — a powerful tribute that brought the community together.
For Sun Sign Company, this was more than just a print job. Owner David Williams included a banner honoring his father, a proud Korean War veteran, making the project deeply personal. With leadership from the Wheelersburg Community Partnership, artwork by Bobbi Rae Madden Hunt, and installation help from the Porter Township Fire Department, the program became a landmark initiative — one that will grow in years to come as more families honor their heroes.

No matter the application, every pole banner we produce is printed with UV-protected inks on durable vinyl. Reinforced pole pockets and heavy-duty brackets ensure banners hold their shape and stay secure. With proper care, they can be reused season after season — giving communities, schools, and businesses an affordable way to make a lasting impression.
