Sun Sign Company Sponsors "Lest We Forget" – Annual 9/11 Remembrance at Ohio Christian University
On September 11, 2025, Sun Sign Company was honored to join other community sponsors in supporting "Lest We Forget," the annual 9/11 remembrance event organized by Pastor Tim Throckmorton of Lifepointe Ministries (McDermott, OH) and hosted at Ohio Christian University in Circleville. This yearly gathering honors first responders, military service members, and the resilience of our nation.
Guests were treated to stirring performances from the Circleville Men’s Barbershop Chorus and the Pickaway Community Band, both of whom set the tone with music that was heartfelt and uplifting.
The keynote address was delivered by Tim Goeglein, former Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush. Mr. Goeglein was in the White House on 9/11 and now serves as Vice President of External and Government Relations for Focus on the Family. His firsthand account of that day was deeply moving, reminding us of the strength and courage needed to endure times of tragedy—including even the most recent moments of national grief.
One of the most impactful moments of the evening was seeing a New York City firetruck that had responded to the Twin Towers on 9/11. The vehicle, now a ministry tool with GoToTheWorld.org, served as a sobering and inspiring reminder of the bravery of firefighters and first responders.
The following morning, Sun Sign Company was also a proud sponsor of a Leadership Breakfast at Odd Fellows in Portsmouth. Attendees had the opportunity to engage more personally with Mr. Goeglein, hear additional reflections from his time in the White House, and receive signed copies of his latest book, Stumbling Toward Utopia.
Events like these remind us why we invest in our communities: to honor the past, build courage for the present, and strengthen hope for the future.
